Jourvelope Launches on Google Play: A Private Video Journal for Your Goals
Our camera-first video journal app is now live for Android — one journey per goal, one 30-second video a day, everything stored on your device.
Jourvelope is officially live on Google Play. If you've been chasing a goal — training for a 5K, learning guitar, building a meditation habit — and every journaling app you've tried has fallen apart by week two, this is the video journal app we built to fix that.
Why we built another journaling app
Text journals ask you to write. Most people don't. Photo timelines ask you to remember to take a picture that actually means something, which most days you won't. Video is different — you can talk for 30 seconds while getting ready, walking to the car, or lying in bed, and you're done. No blank page, no caption to write, no filter to pick.
That's the whole premise of Jourvelope: a daily video diary, one entry per day, capped at 30 seconds so it never turns into a production.
What makes Jourvelope different from other video diary apps
- One journey per goal. Running a 5K and learning guitar don't get mixed into the same feed — each goal is its own journey with its own streak and its own day grid.
- A visual habit tracker, not a spreadsheet. Every recorded day fills in a tile. Skip a day and you'll see the gap immediately — no manual logging required.
- Local-first storage. Recordings are written to your device's own storage. There's no cloud gallery to browse, which means there's also nothing to leak.
- A 30-second cap. Long enough to say something real, short enough that it never becomes a chore.
